The
Rooms
The 7 bedrooms, all en-suite, or with private facilities,
are thoughtfully and prettily designed with chintzy curtains,
soft carpets, comfy pillows and crisp bed-linen. Some with
antique furniture, some with country pine.
The hospitality trays are generously laden with a lovely
selection of quality teas, coffees, chocolates -pretty bone
china mugs and tea-sets, always a fresh flask of milk and
a generous jarful of cookies. Extra fresh milk, ice, lemon,
extra glasses and bottle openers always available.
Soft, fresh, quality towels, flannels and a good selection
of toiletries are always evident, as is the superb cleanliness.
Each room has a selection of books - from "Thomas Hardy" to "Bill
Bryson", - from "Nesting Birds" to "The
Naked Chef" - China cats, old stone jars, whimsies and
sea-shells, ginger jars, beaded lamps, tapestries and posies
of fresh flowers, each one is a delicious treat to the eye.

Rural views either of forest, field or garden. Some with
martins nesting in the eaves in summertime.
